Would you like to be a member of the Yearbook Club?  Our mission is to produce a book of Middle school memories to last a lifetime. The Yearbook Club has the responsibility of digitally constructing the school’s annual yearbook and distribution of that book next June.  This year our club will learn a variety of photography and computer skills in order to create the best yearbook ever!  Keep in mind – there is an application process and only 10 students will be selected to be on staff.

We will meet on Wednesdays, every week and sometimes on Thursdays! Students must be fully committed to this club due to the deadlines that have to be met each month!

If you are interested in becoming a member, please pick up a permission slip/application during Club Sign-Up Week!

Would you like to be a member of the SADD Club?  Our mission is to “provide students with the best prevention tools possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking, drug use, risky and impaired driving, and other destructive decisions.” The SADD Club believes young people can have fun without using alcohol, drugs, or involving themselves in other risky behaviors.  This year our club will be involved in a variety of activities that help promote healthy habits and decision making in our Hereford community. Some examples include Red Ribbon Week, Friends for Life Campaign, Middle School Month, Kick Butts Day, Bullying Prevention, and Mix-It Up Day.

We will meet on Tuesdays, twice a month!

If you are interested in becoming a member, please pick up a permission slip during Club Sign-Up Week!

Would you like to be a member of the Chess/Magic Club?  Our mission is to provide students with a safe place to play and practice their craft. The Chess Club believes young people can have fun while being competitive.  The Magic Club deals with the popular card game, not performing illusions! Pleases know, that this club is not intended to teach students the game of chess or magic, but to provide a place to practice and play with other enthusiasts.

This year’s chess club participants will be given the opportunity to play in county-wide chess competitions.

If you are interested in becoming a member, please pick up a permission slip during Club Sign Up week!
