Students at HMS are expected to complete a summer mathematics work packet that teachers will collect when they return to school in August to keep practicing their math skills.  Students are to complete the packet for the grade they will be in for the 2026-2027 school year. 
Incoming 6
th grade students will receive a paper copy of their math packet if they are visiting on a Preview Day in July or you may print a copy below.

Community stakeholders may nominate deserving school based leaders for our Second Annual MASSP Leadership Champion Awards. This is a great way to honor the amazing efforts of our building leaders! 

  

You can nominate a deserving assistant principal or principal, in one of five categories: 

  • Champion for Excellence in Equity and Inclusion - An assistant principal/principal who recognizes excellence in equity and inclusion serves multiple vital purposes within schools and educational communities. 

  • Community Engagement Champion - An assistant principal/principal who actively builds partnerships, strengthens trust, and creates inclusive opportunities meaningfully engages all stakeholders in the life of the school 

  • Champion for Student Centered Leadership - An assistant principal/principal who prioritizes student centered leadership places an emphasis on a culture where student academic success and well-being are at the forefront of decision making. 

  • Champion for Inspirational Leadership- An assistant principal/principal who inspires others through their dedication to excellence, integrity, and inclusivity is a champion of inspirational leadership. They are a catalyst for positive change, fostering a nurturing and innovative environment where students and staff thrive. The recipient of this award serves as an exceptional role model and influencer, embodying the principles of inspirational leadership in education. 

  • School Culture and Climate Champion- A Culture and Climate Champion is a school leader dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students and staff. Their core focus is on the social-emotional well-being, equity, relationships, and school-wide norms that shape the daily experiences of the school community.
