Discretionary Medication Form
Discretionary Medication Form
Discretionary medication forms allows the school nurse to give a student certain over-the-counter medications during the school day. These may include pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen, as well as antacids or other minor remedies. The form must be signed by a parent or guardian each school year to give permission. This helps students manage minor health issues at school and stay in class whenever possible.
